Description
Pure, raw, unfiltered, untouched, non-irradiated, not heated and no anti-biotics in this honey.
What we’re trying to say is that there is a good chance you will find a bee in your jar. PLEASE BE CAREFUL! The last thing we need is for you to swallow a bee and leave a bad review complete with images.
About the Bees
Our honey comes from bees that roam free, collecting nectar from untouched landscapes and some touched landscapes (no one is controlling these bees) ensuring a pure, enzyme-rich honey that’s non-irradiated and packed with natural pollen and nutrients.
Honey Features:
- 100% raw coastal flora honey
- Unheated, unfiltered, non-irradiated
- No antibiotics, additives, or artificial processing
- Enzyme-rich & naturally packed with pollen
- Perfect for drizzling, sweetening, or eating straight from the spoon
- Please do not gulp from the jar (remember the drowned bee)
This is honey is from hive to jar. We manually decant, label and package it ourselves to make sure you get the best honey there is to offer.
How to Store this Honey
Keep it at room temperature: Store your liquid honey in a pantry, cupboard, or kitchen counter out of direct sunlight. The ideal storage temperature is between 15°C and 25°C.
Never refrigerate liquid honey: Cold temperatures accelerate the natural crystallization process, turning your smooth liquid honey into a solid, grainy texture much faster.
Keep it tightly sealed: Honey easily absorbs moisture and odors from the surrounding air. Always screw the cap on tightly after use to prevent fermentation.
Keep it dry: Always use a clean, bone-dry spoon or honey dipper. Introducing even a drop of water into the jar can cause the honey to spoil.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my honey crystallise?
Raw honey turns thick, grainy, or solid over time because it is a natural, supersaturated mix of sugars and water. High glucose levels and cool temperatures cause the sugar to separate from the liquid, which is actually a sign that the honey is pure and unheated.
Does pure raw honey ever expire?
Pure raw honey does not expire or spoil. Its low moisture content and natural acidity create an environment where bacteria and microorganisms cannot survive. Over time it may change texture or crystallize, but it remains safe to eat indefinitely if stored in a sealed container.
How can I tell if my honey is truly raw and unfiltered?
True raw honey is not completely crystal clear. It often looks slightly cloudy or contains tiny visible specks of pollen and beeswax or even an occasional bee. It will also naturally crystallise after weeks or months, whereas heavily processed commercial honey stays liquid much longer.
What is the best way to liquify crystalised honey?
You can return crystallised honey to a smooth liquid by placing the glass jar in a bowl of warm tap water for 15 to 30 minutes. Avoid using a microwave or boiling water, as high heat can destroy the natural enzymes and delicate nutrients in raw honey.
Why do different jars of raw honey have different colours and tastes?
The colour and flavour of raw honey depend entirely on the specific types of flowers and nectar the bees foraged on. Honey harvested in the spring will taste and look different from honey harvested in the summer or autumn.
